Industry Awards Irish Contract Cleaning Association 2010

The ICCA Industry Awards celebrated its 8th awards this year; as the best in the industry stepped
out to commend the hard-earned achievements of the Contract Cleaning sector in Ireland and to recognise the fundamental contribution that the contract cleaning & FM service companies make to the Irish economy.

Over 350 people attended the ceremony in the Burlington Hotel with the awards providing a benchmark for quality within the industry. The importance of recognising and rewarding people working behind the scenes is key to the industry’s continued success and the annual ICCA awards
are the perfect opportunity to commend staff for their achievements during the year.

ICCA patrons include Bunzl, Ecolab, Diversey, Kimberly Clark, 3M and Nilfisk , their support
has been invaluable and has contributed greatly to the success of the awards.

In restructuring the Award Categories, a new Category for Outstanding Achievement was
added in 2010. The Award for Individual Recognition went to one of the people that this industry pivots on according to Judge Mike Sweeney– “with over twenty eight years of flawless service
as a hugely respected cleaner and supervisor the Award went to Ms Catherine Lawless of
Moore Cleaning Services!”
